Zach’s dad is coming to town

All the way from the USA, Zach’s dad is coming to visit and so Zach asked me if he could do a show in Swaf for him to see. Well, we don’t really need an excuse to have Zach on our stage because we love his music, but if we did, I can’t think of a better one! Still unknown in which formation he will bring his performance, solo? full band? duo? trio?….but I can assure it will be amazing!!!

Zach Steiner is een singer-songwriter maar hij omschrijft zichzelf ook als een alchemist die de donkere negatieve materie in zijn hoofd omzet in muzikaal goud. Zijn liedjes zijn bijtend en levendige interpretaties van zijn emoties en ervaringen. Zijn sound is Roots Americana in de kern: een blend van Country, Folk, Blues en Bluegrass, met een snufje Gypsy Swing. Hij noemt het graag Gutter-Folk omdat het voor hem voelt dat die term zijn sound het beste omschrijft.
